Who are you?
I’m Josh Cole, but the ideas matter most. I’ve collected them from history, world religions, philosophy, and all the most up-to-date science available. I hope I’ve managed to work through the many limitations of my lens, but for what it’s worth I am a cishet caucasian man (he/him pronouns) living in Pennsylvania.
Why should I listen to you?
Because I’ve done the work. Everything I write started with expertise or experimentation. I don’t have a degree I can show you, but I’ve easily put 10,000 hours into understanding the underlying rules of the universe and how they can apply to our day-to-day lives.
What makes this special?
I’m not coming from art, science, religion, or even philosophical scholarship. Instead, I’m collecting all of it. I’m finding and connecting dots that unite all these myriad perspectives into what has to be one useful understanding of the truth. Whether you’re a Christian, Atheist, Buddhist, or Pagan, you should be able to find something useful in what I’ve written. There’s no navel-gazing here — if I go abstract, it’s because there’s something valuable and immediately practical in that abstraction.
What if I see something I disagree with?
Let me know! It’s entirely possible that I’m wrong. As long as we’re both all about loving all people equally, paying attention to science, and embracing diversity of all kinds, I’m pretty sure we’ll end up seeing eye-to-eye.
